A new day in the life of a snapper

This weekend I had the pleasure of second shooting for MHP at the Chevin Lodge Hotel.

What a fantastic venue and very helpful staff.

The day didn't start off so well though, my journey began with a car crash when someone ran into the back of me at a roundabout, this could have set the mood for the day, However there was no damage to either car so on with the day.

On arriving at the lodge I set to work shooting the room layout capturing the details needed for a story book album.

I like to arrive early so that I can ease myself into the day with some fairly easy no stress attached photos before meeting the wedding party and really getting down to the hard work of the day.

The wedding ceremony went well with good audience participation which made for some interesting photos from my vantage point above the crowds.

After the ceremony the wedding party moved outside for drinks and a colossal group list to get through (good job I had my trusty 1st shooter with me ha ha).

My job for the day was to collect as much reportage images as I could while the lead photographer delt with THE LIST.

The groom delivered the best heart felt speech I've ever heard and I've heard a few lol.
